About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need a physical ticket for the third country?

I will be arriving to PEK via a different airline carrier from the one I am leaving PEK with. I do not think I will have my physical ticket, but I have electronic proof that I have a confirmed seat on the exit flight. Is this okay?

You should print your e-ticket on paper. You don't need your boarding pass.
