About:China 72-hour Visa

We cannot leave the airport so surely this will allow us to have the 144hour twov?

All Southern China flights from Brisbane stop for fuel at Guangzhou en route to Beijing.

If you will have stops in Beijing and Guangzhou, you won't qualify for the 144h twov policy. Try to apply for a visa for the trip beforehand.
