About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

which type of visa should I apply? Any require document as proof?

If I want to stay at China for about three months for private reason

You can try to apply for tourist L type from the CVASC, and you need to provide a filled-out application form affixed with a passport-style photo, your passport and its photocopy, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation.
