My daughter & friends will transit in Xiamen Airport for 12 hours. Can they go out of the airport..?
Hi!
We are Indonesian passport holders. My daughter and her friends will be travelling to Europe. All are adults (above 17 years old). Their return flight back to Jakarta (CGK) will be from Amsterdam (AMS). They will transit in Xiamen, China for almost 12 hours in daylight time. So, they want to go to Xiamen city for a sightseeing and to know more about the people and a bit of Chinese culture, etc. For that purpose, do they need to apply for the entry permit before leaving the country or they can apply for a Transit g valid for certain hours..? And, what are the requirements, if they can get a Transit Visa at the airport..? Thanks in advance for any helpful advice
