About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need transit visa if my flight have 2 stopover in China

I am Vietnamese.
I will fly from Hanoi to Aukland (New Zealand) by China Eastern air.
This flight have 3 layovers in Nanning (technical stop), Kunming and Shanghai, duration of every layover under 24 h.
I 'd like to know:
1/ do I need visa for China when I landed in Nanning, Kuming, Shanghai?
2/ do I have immigrate (enter to China) to get my baggage to connect next flight?

You technically don't, but you must clear immigration as there are domestic flights involved. When not holding a visa, immigration officer in Nanning has the power to refuse you entry and send you back to Vietnam if they are not satisfied that you are a genuine traveler.
