hello i'm leaving newark, nj to beijing capital airport with a 1 hr 20 min layover

Then taking a flight to HKG. I am flying exclusively with Air China and see that they're labeled as a domestic airline. in T-3 & T-D (?). Will I be leaving the terminal to get to my flight for HKG? Im an American citizen with a USA passport and no China visa.

Do you also take the flight of Air China to HK? If yes, you don't need to leave T3 to another. Both flights of Air China are at T3. You also don't need a Chinese visa and you are eligible for 144 hours free visa.
