About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do i need to apply for any visa before leaving Australia.

My daughter and i fly into Shanghai at 11pm on 3rd jan, and depart by cruise ship on 5th jan lunchtime. Am i eligible for 72 hr twov and do i need to apply before i leave australia.

If your next stop after Shanghai is not Australia, you are eligible for the free transit. No need to apply for visa.
