144 Hour Transit visa in Shanghai. Itinerary:
SGN - PVG (Dec 29)
PVG - HKG - SGN (Jan 2)
So I'm an American living in Vietnam. I have all the necessary documents for living and working here.
I want to go to Shanghai to visit some old friends and colleagues for New Years, I wanted to use the Transit g because I can't go back to the US to apply for the tourist l.
A. Does this itenary work?
B. Do I need to leave the airport in HKG or stay for a day for the transit to be correct?
C. Do I need to pay 140usd and apply at the consulate in Vietnam for the transit visa?
D. Can I simply book a round trip ticket from SGN to PVG because I am not going back to my home country?
