About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

I have a 16 hour layover at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport on my way to Brisbane.

I intend to stay in the airport area. Do I need a visa?
My ticket is Economy class, am I eligible for a free room/lounge in the airport?
In case not, is there a hotel in airport I can rent a room for 12 hours? What other options I have?

Regards

Where do you come from? If you take a plane from a third country to Australia via Guangzhou, you don't need a visa. But if not, you have to apply for a Chinese visa in advance. There is no free room but hourly charged passenger lounge at negative first floor of T1. Its hotline is 020-36068300 or 18923092291. You can call them if you have any other questions.
