About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

We are cruising from Singapore to Shanghai,on leaving cruise we are spending a day in SH.

then flying directly to UK.Do I need a visa and if so how do I apply ,thanks

No, you don't need and you are eligible for 144-hour free visa.

1. Inform the carrier when boarding
2. Fill an arrival/ departure card
3. Apply for the 144-hour stay permit upon arrival
4. Claim the luggage(if needed)
5. Go through the customs
6. Leave airport
