i am pakistani phd student in korea? want to visit china for one month research work,

i am Pakistani Phd scholar in South Korea? want to visit china for one month research work, my question is "Is it necessary to get invitation letter, signed by the ministry of foreign affair of china? or the invitation from a person with Chinese citizen ship is OK for getting entry permit(for 30 days)?

You are supposed to get invitation letter, signed by the ministry of foreign affair of china for the application. If you doubt that, you can contact the visa office in there to confirm beforehand.
