About:Entry Regulations of China

I am going to Thailand with my 8 year old daughter, her dad is not going with us.

We are having a layover in Beijing airport. Do I need his permission to travel abroad with my daughter or just birth certificate is enough? My daughter has her dads second name.

Hi, you don't need your husband's permission to travel abroad but you do need valid passports and visas. If you are eligible for the 144-hour visa-free transit in Beijing, you will not need a Chinese visa but the onward tickets are necessary. Hope helpful.
