getting around at the zhangjiajie national park

Question

I plan to stay at Jia Chen Guest House for 4 nights to visit Whip Stream, Yellow Stone Village,Tianzi Mountain and Yangjiajie Scenic Area in September 2019. How does one get to the various sections of the park? I plan to spend 3 days sightseeing and want to do one area per day. We are amateur lepidopterists - butterflies - is this a good area for butterflies?

Yes, generally speaking, 3-day sightseeing is suitable. You can fully enjoy the scenery and just do one area per day.  You may see the butterflies in Spring and Summer with nice scenery in the scenic area but as I know, there is no large amount of butterflies.
