About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Kuala lumpur to shanghai to united states.

I will have to check in my baggage once again when i arrive to shanghai pudong airport, will i be eligible to enter shanghai to get my next boarding and check in ky baggage, holding a u.s passport

You can use free transit in Shanghai, and you are eligible to enter shanghai to get your next boarding and check in ky baggage.
