About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

USA- Beijing- Hong Kong- USA

Can I travel from USA to Beijing- spend 3 days in Beijing then travel to Hong Kong (4 hour layover) and then back to the USA?

Does this qualify me for a 144 hour twov? Thank you

Yes it's fine.

But it's not a visa, it's a transit without visa.

Thanks, But I do need to go to Hong Kong, I couldn’t just return to the USA directly from Beijing?

You must. Changing your destination after entry is a serious offense that will cause you to be banned from using any type of free transit for 5 years.
