About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Residence card. Can I apply for 72h free transit?

I'm planning to fly from Warsaw to Vietnam with a transit in China (Kanton). I have vietnamese citizenship, but I'm living in Poland. I have temporary polish residence card, which allows me to travel around schengen area.

You cannot. Only your nationality is relevant, not your residency.
