About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

We have a 23 hours layover in Guangzhou going back to US (we came from the Philippines).

We will arrive at 8:10 pm and flight back is at 7:30 pm the next day. What is the best thing we can do while waiting for our 7:30 pm flight? We will stay in a hotel close to the airport. Do we need a visa if we have to get off the airport?

No, you don't need a visa because you qualify for the 72-hours free visa. You can visit New city of Pearl River, Canton Tower, Guangdong Provincial Museum, Flower City Square... Don't forget to reserve 2 hours or so for your next flight.
