About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is Hainan Permitted?

Arriving in Beijing and using the 144 hour free program, could I then depart for Hainan, where there is a 30 day visa free program?

Leaving the designated area is not allowed. Moreover, the Hainan visa waiver program only applies to those clearing customs and immigration in Hainan, and since you are arriving from other parts of Mainland China you are a domestic passenger that can't go through immigration.
