About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Stopover. I’m from Portugal so i as planing go from thailand (direct flight) to Beijing.

After 58h i plan to go to teheran. The flight leaves from beijing but i will have the change to another plane in Urumqi (china) is just one hour stop and with the same company. Will i have a problem getting the 72h twov in Beijing?

You do not qualify for 72 (or 144) hours transit without visa. Two stops in China limits you to 24 hours. You either need a visa in advance or different flights.
