About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

BEIJING public speaking competition as foreign student

I want to participate in a public speaking competition in Beijing. I am a foreign student studying in HKSAR. Which visa category (study, tourist etc) should I apply for ??

I think you can apply for a tourist L type for that.
