About:Marco Polo Memorial Museum

Leave via Hong Kong

I'll be flying from the UK and plan on visiting Shanghai for a few days, catching the overnight train to Hong Kong, flying to Japan after a few days and flying back home from Japan at the end of my trip. Will this be a problem in getting entry permit?

You can apply for a visa for that trip. But if your trip would be UK-Shanghai(less than 6 days)-HK, you can apply for free transit in Shanghai and no visa will be needed.
