Hi. I’m a S’porean. Going to Shanghai from USA to look after grandkids. How to apply for visa?

If you will stay in mainland China for less than 15 days, you don't need to apply for a visa. Otherwise, if you want to apply for a tourist L type for that, first, you need to provide a filled-out application form affixed with a passport-style photo, your passport and its photocopy, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation. Next, submit the application to the CVASC or Chinese consulate general.
