About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

can 144 hour free visa for both Shanghai and Beijing?

If our flight from LAX to HCM, stop over in over in Shanghai for 5 nights, and we decide to take a train to/from PEK for 2 nights and return to Shanghai, to fly to HCM, do we need Visa entry into China?
