About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Shanghai > Beijing >Hong Kong

We are traveling from New Dehli to Beijing with a layover in Shanghai. Then we are staying there for 6 days (under 144 hours) and then flying to Manila with a layover in Hong Kong.

Does this qualify for the free transit? Also are there any concerns we should be aware of with our airlines? I don't understand what we have to report to them about our visa...

You must get a visa before you travel, or change your flights. You do not qualify for 144 hours transit without visa because you stop in Beijing and Shanghai.
