About:Huangshan Mountain

I will arrive with the overnight train at the HuangShan Railway station around 7am.

How do I best get to the entrance of the scenic area? How long will it approximately take?

Dear, you can take the bus to Tangkou Town outside the railway station. Then get off at Huangshan Tourists Service Center where you transfer to take the scenic area shuttle bus to the booking office. Have a good time!

Hello,

Thank you for the quick reply. Do you have any idea how long the whole trip to the scenic area will take?
I will take the same train back a couple of day later.
To go back from the scenic area to Huangshan railway station, until what time are there buses going from the scenic area to Tangkou and from Tangkou to Huangshan railway station?

Hi, Griet, the trip to the scenic area may take about 2 - 3 hours.

There is no direct bus from the scenic area to the railway station.
You can take the bus at the New National Line Dongling Transfer Station, located at the south gate of the scenic area(Tangkou). The buses here usually depart from 07:00 to 17:00 and leave every 20 minutes. The ticket fare is about CNY16 and it mat take about 70 minutes to the downtown.

By the way, some buses may stop at the railway station, but some may only be allowed to get off at
Huangshan Bus Terminal where you need to transfer to take the high speed train express to the railway station and the ride may take about 80 minutes.
