About:144-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Will 144 hr transit visa work for us

Husband and I will fly to Shanghai, stay 3 days then board a cruise to Hong Kong, Viet Nam, Thailand and Singapore. Will the 144 hour transit without visa work for us.
Do I need a visa or some permit for Hong Kong or Singapore?
