About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour visa exemption.

I am a UK citizen flying to Beijing for three days then join a cruise ship to Okinawa, Japan then on to Taipei (Keelung), Taiwan then onto Hong Kong before flying back from Singapore. Do I qualify for a 144 hour free transit

Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan & Mainland China are considered different countries when it comes to Transit With out Visa (TWOV).

As long as Beijing is the only landing in Mainland china and country immediately before and after are not the same its eligible for the 144 hour transit without visa for the 53 approved passports

UK > Beijing > Japan > Anywhere in the world is eligible for the TWOV
