los angeles to beijing to delhi 14472?

My routing is LAX to DEL round-trip with a stop in China. If I only stay in Beijing, do I get 72 or 144 hours visa free layover? I am confused about 72 versus 144.Do most also add other cities if I get a 144 layover?

It depends on how long you will take a layover in Beijing. If your stay longer than 72 hours in Beijing, you will need to apply for the 144-hour transit visa. Besides, you can also go to Tianjin and Hebei if you get a 144-hour layover.
