About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Working during 144-hour stopover

I am planning to use the 144-hour visa-free entry for a four-day stopover in Beijing. My question is about what I am allowed to do during this time. In particular, I am going there for work - a brief consultancy visit - for which I will be paid. Is this allowed?

Hi, I think it is allowed. Don't worry about that too much.
