TWOV 24 hour transit enquiry

Hi there, my flight is MEL > CAN (Guangzhou, stop over for 2 hours) > PEK (I'll be spending the night) > Third country the following morning. Do I qualify for the TWOV 24 hour Visa free? I also have the documentation to prove I'll be moving on and where I'm staying for that evening. Thanks
