We want to visit Sanqingshan from Fuzhou.

Hi,
We would arrive at 8:30am at Shangrao Station. How would we best get to the mountain on a budget? Are there buses? How long would it take?
Also, is it possible to hike the mountain on one day and catch the train back?

1. Firstly, on arrival at Shangrao Railway Station, take a taxi or bus to Daihulu Bus Station.

By taxi, it may take about 8 minutes and CNY20 per taxi; by bus, it may take about 20 minutes and CNY1 per person.

The departing time of the shuttle bus from Shangrao Central Bus Station to Sanqingshan Southern Cableway is 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:30; 12:00, 13:00, 14:00 and 15:30. 16:40. So you are advised to catch the bus departing at 9:00 by taxi if you arrive at Shangrao Railway Station at 8:30.

2. Before 9:00, you must reach the Daihulu Bus Station and catch the shuttle bus departing at 9:00 to Sanqingshan. The whole trip requires about 1.5 hours.

Taking a cable car through the Sanqingshan Southern Cableway needs about ten minutes. The time spent in climbing the mountain is uncertain and may be about 7 - 10 hours for a cycle. It depends on your travel routes and physical energy.

According to the real condition, hiking the mountain on one day and catching the train back are impossible for you. You can choose to travel for two days.
