I am flying to Beijing from the UK and arrive on the 4/10/18 and on the 7/10/18 i am going on a cruise from Tianjin and then will be flying back to the uk from Singapore

Hi Allegra we are also flying from the UK,01/10/18 and was wondering if we could get 144 hour twovBut we are doing a 6day land tour first, we arrive on the 02/10/18 Xian start tour Xian and Beijing then to the same port as yourself on the 07/10/18 for cruise  have you managed to sort the 144 twov if so how and where to apply Thank you Jenny

That's not possible. 144-hour transit covers only a certain area which does not include Xi'an. You need a visa.
