144 Hour Transit Visa- Flight & Cruise

We are a party of 2;

Person 1 - Flying SYD - PEK (staying one night), then cruise from Tianjin to Nagasaki & Fukuoka, returning to Tianjin. 3 nights in Beijing, before flying back to SYD.

Person 2 - Flyign DPS - PEK (staying one night), then cruise from Tianjin to Nagasaki & Fukuoka, returning to Tianjin. 3 nights in Beijing, before flying to HKG.

Confirming we are both eligible for the visa on both occasions in China please?
