About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

So will I be eligible for the 144 hour exemption visa.

Getting off cruise ship in Shanghai, staying 2 nights then flying home to UK. Flight leaves Shanghai to Manchester via Beijing.

You need a visa. Shanghai to Beijing is not allowed with 144 hrs transit without visa.
