144 hour visa free transit in beijing

Flying from uk to beijing via dubai. arrive in beijing on 5th october. Leaving on the 7th october on a cruise from tainjin to japan. l am a british citizen.do i need a visa

You don't need it as you can use 144h twov in Beijing and Tianjin.
