Iranian with residence permit in Germany?!

Hi there,

my husband is Iranian with a residence permit in Germany. We would like to go from Germany -over Shanghai- to go to Sydney, Australia. The time we would have to stay in Shanghai for the connecting flight would be 13 hours. Does he need a Visa? Thank you!

Iranian passport needs a visa for China. Residency doesn't mean anything when it comes to the process. It just means he has the right to live in Germany.
