About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

transit visa for iranian

Hi,
I hold an Iranian passport and will travel from Stockholm to Tokyo with a stop in Beijing airport (PEK) for 2.5 hours. Do I need a visa for this transit?

You do not need any kind of visa. Your transit through China will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit, so no visa is needed.

Since your layover is a short one, you will just walk from one to the other gate and you will not be a subject to immigration or customs checks. Also, you will not need to perform any formality nor to fill out any forms. All you have to do is just to be careful not to lose your onward flight. Have a nice journey.
