About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Iranian passport

I have an Iranian passport and plan to fly from Istanbul to Tokyo with China Airlines, with a 5-hour layover in Beijing. Considering my Iranian nationality, can I use the 24-hour visa-free transit service?

Basiavash, your itinerary will be definitely covered by 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. Since your layover is relatively short and you do not plan to exit the airport, you will just walk from one to the other gate in Beijing airport. Also, you will not be a subject of immigration or customs inspection and you will just cross a short security check between the two gates. One more detail... You will fly Air China and not China Airlines. Two different airlines. Have a nice journey.
