About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit visa needed? [Turkish passport]

Hi, I am a Turkish citizen and I am going to Philippines through Beijing. Just to make things more complicated, I am flying from Milan. I have 14 hours between my flights in Beijing, I am planning to stay at the transit area, no intention to leave the airport.

Do I need entry permit? I see Turkey on the list but maybe this is for the ones who wants to leave the airport, visit the city and turn back to take the next flight in 24 hours?

Sorry but a transit visa is necessary even if you don't switch planes or leave the airport.
