About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa. My final stop on cruise is Shanghai

were I will disembark, I want to stay there for 2 nights, I have flight home leaving Shanghai to Beijing getting connecting flight to UK, so am I entitled to free 72 hour, or do I have to get full visa.

Full visa is necessary to take the domestic flight between Shanghai and Beijing. You would need an international flight that directly leaves china for a third country to be able to use the 144 (formerly 72) hour free transit.
