Visa for visiting daughter

Hi,
I'm planning to visit my daughter in Shanghai in November for 10-14 days. My daughter is doing an internship there and is staying with her host family. I would be staying with the host family as well. What type of visa would I need? Also can I download an application form online?

You can apply for tourist L type for that. You can download an application form online.
