5 hour layover in Beijing

Hello,

I am planning on flying into Beijing from LAX, with plan to then go to Bangkok and I will have a 1 hour layover on November 3, and then a 5 hour layover on the return flight on November 11. Will I qualify for the 24 free transit for both trips?
