student visa in mongolia

Hello,I saw your answer about applying for the X1 in a 3rd country, but I had a specific question. I'm a UK citizen currently working in Mongolia. I have a Chinese govt scholarship for next year and will receive all the forms etc. shortly. I've heard its very difficult to apply for a visa in Mongolia as a foreign national, especially without Mongolian permanent residence. Do you know if its possible for foreign nationals to apply for student Xs in Mongolia?Thanks

Maybe you can apply for student X1 type from there. If you are still worried, you are advised to contact the China embassy to confirm that before you make the application.
