About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transfering through China - shanghai - beijing

Hello, I have flight tickets from shanghai - through beijing - to prague, bought tickets as one flight prague-shanghai and return. I will be flying from Honk Kong to Shanghai where I would love to stay for two days, but I also need to leave airport and pick up my suitcase in Beijing. Will be possible to do it with transferring visas? And 144 extended will apply in this case? Thank U

If you have two stops in China, you are limited to 24 hours transit without visa. 144 hrs does not apply.

And can I enter country via Shanghai and leave from Beijing? Also Can I leave airport in Bejing if my connection flight is in 12 hours? I still need to pick up my suitcase in hotel somehow. Is there any other solution or exception that could apply for this case? Thank U for answers

If you qualify for the 24h twov, you can enter country via Shanghai and leave from Beijing. Also you can leave airport in Beijing.
