vancouver - beijing - seoul

Hello, I am interested in buying an Air China ticket from Vancouver to Seoul. With the multi city ticket option, I can add 3 days staying in Beijing to my trip. Am I eligible for 144 hr free transit?Does it matter whether I get Air China tickets through multi-city or round-tip options?thanks

Vancouver - Beijing - Seoul is fine for applying 144hr free transit. You cannot travel to other Chinese cities except Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. It doesn't matter whether you get Air China tickets with round-tip options or not.
