About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have a quetion, regarding 72h free transit policy

I'm planning to buy an open -jaw ticket - Sofia - Guiling - Kuala Lumpur - Sofia. Thats the first ticket, and the second is Guiling to Kuala Lumpur.
Can I use the 72h free policy to visit just taht area (Guiling, Li river etc)?

Sofia > Guiling > Kuala Lumpur is allowed, but it depends where you will stop between Sofia and Guiling. No airline goes between Sofia & Guiling withut stopping elsewhere. if that stop is in China (or Kuala Lumpur) then you will need a visa.

The first stop is Amsterdam, then 6h layover in Beijing, and after that to Guiling.

Two stops in China immediately limits you to 24 hours twov. To stay longer you need a visa or different flights.
