About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Iam from the usa my wife is a philippine she holds a us green card, our plain ticket is changed to a 24 hour delay it was only a 5 hour layover,china eastern will get our room. but I need to know will my wife be ok do we need to call anyone thank you

If it puts the stop over 24 hours it will require a Visa. If this is advance schedule change contact the airline to see if they will rebook on a shorter connection, or possibly refund and rebook on another airline.
