About:Kunming Airport

Travelling from SFO to KTM on China Eastern, layover at Kumming for 15 hours as shown on the ticket.

Are there anymore transit?
Also, will the luggage be delivered at last destination or need to be collected at each layover?

It depends on if you have a connecting ticket. If you have one, it can be delivered at the last destination. You need to contact your airline to confirm it.
