About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

VISA INFORMATION. Here is Tee from London.

I have a German passport. I am making a tour from London to Bangkok via Beijing and return from Bangkok to London via Shanghai. I need your help before booking a flight with China Air. Hope you will give me a better suggestion and help me in this regards.

In this regards, my question is May I book a flight from London to BKK via PEK and during 72 hours I can visit China Wall and surrounding and back to the airport to take the flight to BKK without any visa because as an EU citizen?

Likewise, on my return journey May, I book a flight from BKK to London via PVG and use the option to visit Shanghai and Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge during 144 hours twov entry and take the flight to London from the same airport?

Kindly inform me as soon as possible that I have to book the flights with my wife please.

Thanks and have a nice day.

Best regards

Tahir Adnan

London > Beijing > Bangkok is allowed and you can visit the wall at Badaling or Mutianyu (maybe spots close to that as well) on the TWOV as they are part of the Beijing region.

Bangkok > Shanghai > London is allowed as well on the return. You wont be able to visit the Zhangjiajie glass bridge as is in the Hunan province about 2 hours away by plane. Shangai transit only allows visiting the Shanghai, Zhejiang, or Jiangsu regions
