About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is visa application needed for my 2 times short stay in SH?

Is it necessarry to request entry permit to Shanghai when I am staying there for 2 days, 2 times? I will elaborate on this: after two days when I am flying in Shanghai, I will leave SH to go to another country. One week later I will fly back to Shanghai and again stay there for 2 days before I leave Shanghai again to another country.

I hope you can answer my question.

You can enter china twice. Once you leave china you can enter again. Just need to make sure the country/region you enter china from is different than the one you leave to.
